Yes Friends u can get 500 MB GPRS data in ur own sim.

First U have to send msg                                            

PORT MOBILE NUMBER to 1900

I.e.  PORT 9876543210 to 1900
then u will get a porting code.

After 4 hours getting that sms, u will receive call from vodafone cc for asking u why are you switching to other operator ?

Then u have to tell u that there is no good offers in vodafone compared to tata docomo  or reliance and others in data package.

So they will offer u MB data with unlimited validity.
